February is National Children’s Dental Health Month

Studies show that when a child’s oral health suffers, so does their ability to learn. If a child has pain, early tooth loss, or a dental injury, it can result in failure to thrive, impaired speech development, and reduced self-esteem. The good news is KTHC Dental is ready to help you and your family!

Oral health starts as a baby, cleaning gums twice daily and then as teeth grow, brushing twice daily. Visit the dentist by your baby’s first birthday to spot signs of problems early. We have a pediatric dentist who sees patients ten years and younger and is available on Tuesdays twice monthly. Ask us about fluoride varnish, as it can prevent about one-third (33%) of cavities in the primary (baby) teeth.

To schedule your appointment or if you have any questions, feel free to give us a call us at (405)964-2081 x258.
