SCAM ALERT: Protect Our Elders from Medicare Fraud!

Fake “official-looking” Medicare mail is being sent to seniors, assigning a phony appointment time and listing non-official 1-888 phone numbers.

🔴 Here’s what to watch out for:

• Mailers claiming you have a “scheduled appointment” with Medicare

• Calls or texts from unknown numbers asking for Medicare or Social Security info

• Scare tactics saying your benefits are at risk

• Promises of “free” services or benefits — if you just give your info or pay a fee

⚠️ REMEMBER:

• Medicare does NOT schedule appointments by mail or phone out of the blue

• You must contact Medicare yourself to handle appointments or plan changes

•Never call numbers listed on suspicious mail — always check the official number
